DUCTING ACCESSORIES

Choosing the right ducting system is just as important as the rangehood selection itself. Semi rigid and solid galvanized ducting is recommended for standard on board rangehood models with ducting distances of 1 to 6 meters, this ducting offers excellent airflow and is a durable proven duct system.

For off board silent series rangehoods we suggest to install with 200mm flexi ducting, this larger size ducting is ideal for installation with our silent series models - and almost eliminates any fan motor noise at kitchen level.

Flexible ducting can be used where rigid installation isn't practical, though it does reduce airflow efficiency, increase noise, and is a lot less durable. Correct duct sizing is equally critical — undersized ducting will reduce extraction performance & void warranty’s in some applications.

Solencio on board rangehood models are installed with 150mm ducting & the Solencio off board rangehood selection pairs with 200mm ducting.

  • If installed with an onboard model, only to be used on very short ducting routes 0-3m maximum & when the installation of semi rigid ducting is unachievable.

  • If installed with an offboard model, plan for a 3-6m ducting route, the longer the ducting distance the quieter the rangehood will perform at kitchen level.

  • Premium flexi ducting, to be installed as noted above with either onboard or offboard models, this ducting is flame proof, rodent proof & highly durable.

  • Ideal for extra-long onboard ducting routes, excellent airflow & highly durable.

  • Ideal for installation in narrow spaces, in ceilings, toe kicks & in wall frames, comes with a variety of fittings.

  • Premium flat channel ducting, with a smooth internal bore & rounded corner edges for optimum airflow, perfect to install with downdraughts and again all those tight narrow spaces.
